Clusters of homes in Al-Dayer Bani Malik governorate are nestled in the mountains of Jazan region in the south. Located about 150 kilometers northeast of Jazan proper, Al-Dayer is home to several mountains, the most famous of which is Talan, whose highest peak stands at 2,300 meters above sea level. Al-Dayer’s archaeological sites, which includes forts and towers built of stone at high altitudes, are among the town’s attractions.
