Al-Ahli Saudi Sports Club


Al-Ahli Saudi Sports Club is a Saudi Arabian professional sports club based in Jeddah. It's known by it football team Al-Ahli Saudi Football Club In addition to football, the club Volleyball, Team handball, Basketball, Swimming (sport), and Athletics (sport) teams. Al-Ahli achieved more in all the games of the 1100 or more championships in the share of first-team including holds 47 championships in football. Al-Ahli won the Saudi Premier League twice in 1978 and 1984. In 1984, Al-Ahli was under the management of Telê Santana Under Santana, Al-Ahli won Saudi Champions Cup in 1983, Saudi Professional League in 1984, and Gulf Club Champions Cup in 1985. Al-Ahli was the first club to win the double in 1978, and is the only club in Saudi Arabia that won 12 titles of the King's Cup and thus the team known as "The Royal". The team, along with only few teams, to have always played in the first division.
